Born in Invercargill. Moved to Christchurch in 2000 to go to Canterbury University. Worked in Wellington for a while, now live in Riccarton (ChCh) and work in the central city. I got married in 2008 to my partner of 8 years. I'm a Labour Party member, have stood for Parliament twice, and for City Council in 2007 (just missing out unfortunately!).

I need your help

Come along to a BBQ at my place this Saturday plus get $30 each for 2 hours dooknocking - bring along one friend! There are many people who haven't enrolled to vote yet, and even more who haven't voted. Doorknocking helps motivate people to vote.

Find out what real grass-roots democracy is all about. Help us turn out those voters!

Last election the difference between the Councillor who won and the next person who didn't make it on to Council was just 300 votes! If 15 of us get 10 votes each that's 150 more votes than I might otherwise have got.

Door knockers go out in teams of two – and two teams per street. It is much easier and more fun that people expect!

Saturday 6th October

2pm – meet at my place – get some training

2.30pm – go out door-knocking

5pm onwards – drinks at my place and share fun stories from the doorknocking!
